Because, yeah, I need another one! HEHE

jeckasue and I were IMing. The next thing I know we are joking about her next husband. She’s going through a divorce right now and somehow we started talking about how much dating sucks and how this is a crappy situation. But of course it is better than staying married to her current husband.

So anyway we start kidding around about how she’s going to meet her next husband and they are going to be like that icky lovey dovey couple and make their friends disgusted and yadda yadda yadda. Somehow this whole thing took on a rather large life of its own. Don’t ask me how.

Somehow this has turned into a romantic comedy about life, love, dating after your first marriage, and dating in our church. We’ve got quite the story line and it’s a riot. OK, maybe only to us? I don’t know. But we’ve decided to run with it. We are of course changing names and locations to protect the.. erm… innocent.. yeah that’s the story. 😉

She’s got a bunch of stuff in her journal from our ramblings but here’s a summary in mine.

Grace and Seth Jackson have decided to end their long dead marriage. Grace gets custody of their cute little boy, Aaron and enters the world of single motherhood with the roller coaster fun of dating in the new millinium. After six months of duds and meeting guys she feels are way too young, she heads from NC to DC for a conferance of other singles from her church at the urging of a friend.

Grace happens to meet Spencer Fielding Olson and the two fall madly in love after spending the entire weekend together. The rest of the singles at the conferance are snickering and taking bets on how long before these two wed.

Spence lives in VA and so they spend quite some time emailing, IMing, and phoning each other. Their second actual date he tries to show her all his pictures from his Mandarin speaking mission in Perth Australia. Around slide tray 14, Grace grabs him, the slide trays and takes him to the photo shop to introduce him to the wonderful world of pictures and thus…scrapbooking!

Thus far the working title is: Single Again: Life and Love outside of Utah. ROFL… too funny. Spence is of course 8th generation LDS with lots of sisters who adore Grace and watch her child so Spence and her can go on dates and to the Temple and the like.
