The local theatre is showing movies on Tuesday and Wed morning through the summer for families. The movies are free, only snacks cost! There are two movies for each week. This week was the first set and it was Pinnochio and Sinbad. We went today for Sinbad. This movie was great! The kids loved it and I suppose they didn’t butcher too much so that’s good as well!

My friend from yesterday came and after the movie we went to McDonald’s. I got one of those pedometer’s they are giving out. I wonder how accurate it is because it says I’ve taken like almost 6000 steps today! Is that possible?

After that we went to the mall and I must admit I did a bit of shopping! Bad me. We’re OK, just things are going to be a little tight until mid July if we don’t get the money from my husband’s expense reports in. So of course I’m panicky but I’m trying to tell myself it will be OK. But I did need some new bath soap so I popped into Bath and Body Works and picked up some. They are having a great sale. I probably should have stocked up but oh well. HEHE After that we hit the Disney Store where everything was 50% off. I let the kids get these little battery operated fans and some flip flops. Then I splurged and got them water/bubble guns to replace their broken ones from Ohio. I had chucked their water guns which were broke and their bubble guns, also broke. These are Buzz Lightyear ones and combination as well. But hopefully now that they have something for outside other than their football, I’m thinking they will have a little more fun. All their outside toys were old and broken and so I had chucked them. And we put almost all of their toys into the storage so they have almost nothing. But I don’t mind getting them a few good things for Grandma’s over the course of the summer. Especially as we get things cleaned up. And things are slowly heading that way.

We did look at plenty of other stuff as well. Had a lot of fun. I got home around 3:30 and the kids loved their flip flops and their toys.

Tonight I saw two of the girls I grew up with. They are both in town visiting their mother. So I went over. They are both photographers and one loves astronomy. So we talked “shop” a bit. Plus we caught up. They are both married and the older sister has a baby. The baby was soooooo cute! Awww. Her husband wasn’t in town but I met the other sister’s husband.

After coming home I worked some in my mom’s house. I swept and cleaned up the kitchen. I discovered a small round trashcan. Since it doesn’t get used right now I put it in the kitchen for bottles. My parents recycle, so this will work well. I used it to fill up from the family the room since it had a few things in it. Filled up that bag and then tied it up, put it with the rest of the garbage we have found. Then put in a new liner and filled it with bottles! Now they are no longer lined up (though we started lining them up neatly since I cleaned up the kitchen) on the counter!

We watched a Clean Sweep tonight. My mom is really liking this show I think! And we are getting good ideas. We definately need ideas for her family room zone.
