And grrr. Best Buy actually did NOT stock Wonderfalls. They couldn’t find it in their backroom either. Hello? Foooooools!!! That’s OK. Maybe we can go see if there’s a better bargain somewhere? We shall see. Dorks. Never trust a Blue Shirt. Cast them to the wolves instead! Mwahahahahaha…

Lady Ozma’s Review of Charmed DVDs:

This is season 1 and it is great. You get all 22 episodes from season 1 anytime you want with no commercial interruptions! This alone warrants kudos. The box is beautiful with Prue, Piper, and Phoebe and the gorgeous Charmed logo. The back has a few episode images surrounding a synopsis of the show. You get all six DVDs in their own slimmy case. Slimmy cases are the best! So much nicer than those flip open deals like Buffy comes in. And not taking up of extra space like full DVD cases. All DVDs, especially seasons, should come in slimmy cases!!

The art on the DVDs is great. They use the Triquetra, which is definately fitting. You have the Book of Shadows on Disc one, each girl is on the next three DVDs in a loop of the triquetra. The fifth disk shows all three girls in the triquetra and the last one is nothing but a triquetra. The triquetra embodies so much of this show, as well as the power of the witches. I give the artwork/packaging major kudos.

The only real hit is there are no extras. None. All this waiting and we got…. nothing? Twenty-two full screen episodes. That’s it. I know some people are complaining about the original pilot not being on. Well the original pilot was actually exactly the same. When they changed actresses they just redid those particular scenes and cut them in. No big deal there. But I’d have loved for some commentary, some behind the scenes pictures, heck even just a virtual BOS where you could view the season 1 spells. Wouldn’t have been THAT hard. And the last disc only has 2 episodes, so it wasn’t like there was a lack of room.
