OK, I just wanna say… interesting day… wish I had realized it earlier today.
OK, I think we probably all have someone we know… for me? It was my cousin. He passed away early on. I think he was even one of those many “We don’t know what you have” guys for a while. Could be wrong. I was really just a kid. And I didn’t know him that well. But he was really nice. Sweetest guy you could ever ever meet. And yes, he was gay. But after being diagnosed and all, he was very careful. I remember knowing him and learning very early how special EVERYONE is no matter what they do and what disease they have. I was sad to lose him. I realized he was a wonderful person and I would lack him in my teen years and so forth.
